CAKE CUTTING / PORTION SIZE GUIDE

To calculate size(s) of cake(s) required please see the table below.  They are based on 2 by 1 inch portions (approximately).  More generous portions can, of course, be cut and this may be desirable if the cake is to be served as the dessert for the wedding breakfast.

Printed instructions on the best method for cutting and serving the cake are supplied to the venue’s caterers.

Alternative shapes may be used but these are not held in stock and therefore will need to be hired at an additional charge (approximately £2.50 per tin plus £25 deposit).

For multiple tiers, please remember to add the number of portions for each tier together to calculate the total number of portions.
